What are prenatal tests and why are they important?
Prenatal tests are medical tests you get during pregnancy. They help your health care provider find out how you and your baby are doing.
Prenatal DNA blood draw. A Prenatal DNA blood draw is a blood draw from the mother and a mouth swab from the alleged father. The mother must be eight weeks or more to perform the test. Since the mother and child shares the same placenta until the child is born. That’s how we get the DNA for accuracy. The alleged father is required for a mouth swab to see if there’s matching DNA.
The Prenatal DNA test is $1,400. If you wish to know the gender of the unborn child it will cost an additional $100. The test results will take approximately seven business days.
